A Winter Scandal By Candace Camp
The sexual attraction was not palpable to me, at least on Gabriel's part (Thea's been dreaming of him for ten years). He just started kissing Thea without any real build up. The three or four sex scenes were alright, but there was more kissing than anything - this is a PG-16 rated novel ). My preference is rated R however, if something more glossed over appeals to you, than you might like it. As to the relationship, it was quick to form, but mature as well, if that makes any sense. Both Thea and Gabriel entered the affair willingly with no illusions of marriage. The declarations of love were private - as the entire relationship - which I personally like (no "will you marry me" in front of the whole world).
